Die Rasselbande Preschool welcomes children from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on basis of race, color or national and ethnic origin. We admit children age two to Pre-Kindergarten. It is not required for your child to be toilet trained. 

It is recommended that parents visit the preschool before applying for a slot. Tours of the campus can be scheduled at any time through the school office. 619-465-4420

Applications for admission for the current school year can be considered at any time. It is recommended that parents contact the school to determine if there are any slots open in the program they are interested in.

Parents wishing to enroll their child must fill out a registration form available from the office or downloadable from our website. Once it has been determined that a slot is available a $280 non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child's slot.

 History of Die Rasselbande

Die Rasselbande Preschool was founded in the Fall of 2003 as a full German immersion preschool cooperative by Heike Paulsen and Johanna Petosa. The cooperative became a fully licensed preschool in March 2008 with a fulltime director. Mrs. Paulsen continued to be involved with Die Rasselbande as a Chairwoman and President of the Board of Directors until May 2009, while Mrs. Petosa has been working as a preschool teacher at Die Rasselbande. Die Rasselbande has grown from 12 to over 80 students.
